Everyone has wondered at some point in time which cardiovascular fitness exercise is better.Doing both low and high intensity exercises will burn your body fat, so to speak.Problem is, which exercise will burn your body fat more effectively.

When scientist noticed that glycogen, the stored form of your carb intake that is stored in your liver and muscles for energy sources, are burnt during intensive fitness training or exercises.  During low intensity exercise programs or exercises, your body will burn a lot of fat.

Scientists aren't fooling you when they said walking or swimming or any other low intensity exercise routine burns more body fat.Running is one high intensity exercise proven to burn more calories.The calories burnt are both from glycogen and fat.

Better yet, the carbohydrates intake will be converted into glycogen, not body fat, when they're left unused for energy when your glycogen level is low.

You can get your metabolism working dilligently even after working out by getting on high intensity cardiovascular fitness exercise.  What this means, is that your body will continue to burn body fat hours after you have left the gym.Low intensity cardio or aerobic exercise do not produce such effect.

Of course, high intensity cardiovascular fitness exercise will burn more calories during and after the workout than low intensity ones will.

Your cardio activities can be leveled up with high intensity exercise programs by engaging some interval trainings. You can walk for 5 minutes or so, then break into some jogging for another 5 minutes or so.Be sure to do short walks and one minute sprints alternatively to catch your breath.  From this point, simply alternate your running and walking for the next 15 minutes until you are finished.

One of the best things about cardiovascular fitness exercise is the more you do it, the more energy you'll have.Cardio helps you more in maitaining high energy level than burning calories.

If you've never tried cardio before, you should give it a shot.Taking cardio exercise programs are the best way to improve your energy level as weel as keeping in your best shape, if you like to exercise that is.  If you are just starting out, you’ll want to go slow and keep your cardiovascular fitness exercise in track - as it is very easy to over exert yourself.
